Lavender snapped her head around to look at Seamus, her eyes narrowing into dangerous slits. Though she didn't know she was jealous of Parvati, her defensive instincts kicked in immediately.
"You were only kidding when you asked Parvati to Hogsmeade?" She exclaimed. She and Parvati had often complained about how horrible boys were, but she never would have put Seamus on that list. He was one of the good ones, "That's horrible, Seamus. I'm surprised with you."
Luckily, Lavender's loyalty to her friend outweighed any relief she felt.
