Even though Seamus had sat on the other side of the bench, Lavender scooted a little further away. It wasn't a conscious effort, but instinct. Her body was as angry as her brain was, so it physically moved her from the source of her hurt feelings. Why she was so upset, the brain had still to figure out.
"Of course I'm alright," She said in a rather clipped voice, "Why wouldn't I be alright? I'm peachy. Perfectly dandy. Obviously."
