Who Susan and Terry What Pre-Arithmancy jitters When (Backdated) Wednesday, lunch time Where Courtyard Rating Mild
It was a mild day out, especially considering the past few days at the castle. He was sitting outside with his homework sprawled out over the text book in his lap. He had chewed the top of his quill to shreds and panicked about every littler mistake. Terry was certain he was going to fail the assignment. He had missed the different study groups for the class and was having a hard time getting in touch with his classmates. The previous period, he begged Ernie to tell Susan he needed her desperately for last minute fact-checking.
Normally he was not too worried about the class. It was more or less math and he was great with numbers and memorizing things. This year was different. Until now, the class studied with the Agrippan method. It was the basic version where the alphabet was run through the numbers one through nine. The Chaldean method was different. It was more confusing and it was driving him crazy. He had been fretting everything since the lesson plan changed over in December.
His eyes were locked on the page in front of him. He only had a half an hour or so before his class was due to start. He had yet to hear from any of the other people in his class and it was worrying him. What if he was the only person having trouble? He had been close to the top. What if he was slipping and headed to the bottom of the barrel. He was stressed, but the last thing he needed was to lose his place as the resident dork of the class.
