Mandy raised a hand to touch her eyebrows with a frown. "I like my eyebrows. If you're going to hex me, chose something else, please?" She was joking, of course, but it was hard to tell with Mandy. Her voice sounded the same when she was joking and when she wasn't.
She sat up fully as Ginny picked up another rock. "It's so quiet out here when it's cold. I love it," she admitted, when asked. "Sorry if I startled you." She knew the other girl wasn't too fond of her, and she could guess why, though they never saw too much of each other, so it never really bothered Mandy. Still, it was best to at least be polite, and Mandy was always curious about everyone's goings-on. "What brought on the yelling fit?"
