When Max took his hand, Radek look over at her as he rubbed his other hand across the bottom of his face. He'd been involved in some unbelievable things since joining the Stargate project, but this surely would top them all. But as long as he was with Rodney and Max, he knew that he'd help with whatever needed to be done because he was damn certain that if they stayed put and did nothing, all of them would find themselves being pulled apart, just like Teyla and Evan.
Just like he, Rodney and Max had been a few weeks before.
"We'll say that we need to do an engine test to get the people off of the Daedalus beforehand," Fred suggested, looking over at Steven. "The beam being down can be part of that."
"Good idea," he said with nod before Rodney pushed his napkin out to show them what he had come up with.
Still holding Max's hand, Radek leaned forward so he could see it better and pushed his glasses up his nose. A power spike as the engines came online, followed by shorter power bursts throughout the launch into space.
"I think that'll work," he said, giving Rodney a grin. "Brilliant, láska."
"We'll need a few days to get everything taken care off, including getting the supplies from that warehouse," Sam said as she looked at all of the others. "If the IOA is planning for us to hand the city over in two weeks, we need to be ready to leave in one."
"I think we can handle that," Jack said. When everyone looked at him, he sat back. "I just know that everyone here is the best, and if Sam says we need to be ready, we'll be ready."
