Cameron couldn't believe this. The IOA was taking Atlantis from them and breaking up a family. He clenched his fists, suddenly wishing Woosley was there to punch. He had never been part of the Atlantis expedition but he had heard stories from all of them, and had read the mission reports. The city needed to be in Pegasus, and not sitting in the middle of the ocean on Earth. So when Cait, Jack, and John spoke up, Cameron nodded.
"Then we don't come back. We take the city and hide it in Pegasus," he said as he looked at all of them. "If they want it back, then they'll have to find us and fight."
"Okay, so we somehow get the city off Earth without getting caught and hide it. That means we'll have to cut off all contact with the SGC and Earth. What do we do for supplies?" Rodney asked as he looked around the table.
With a long sigh, Steven set his fork down on his plate. He looked down for a moment and softly frowned before looking up again. "Supplies shouldn't be a problem for a while...at least two years," he quietly said before taking a deep breath. "This isn't the first plan the IOA had put in place. There was some concern about the budget so the IOA decided to do an experiment." He reached back and rubbed the back of his neck. "They were going to send Atlantis back without Woosley and cut of contact, and let all of you fend for yourselves. There's a warehouse outside of San Fransisco filled with medical supplies, weapons and rations. I'm sorry. I should've said something sooner."
"Not your fault, Steven," Jack said.
"They were going to fuck us over. I say we repay them...for everything," Cait said before she smirked a little. "And we do have the best scientists in the world sitting at this table. I think stealing the city is going to be easy."
