Radek glanced over when Fred and Jeannie started laughing at whatever they were whispering about together. Of course, Rodney immediately thought that his sister was laughing at him. Shaking his head, Radek looked over at Max and shrugged before reaching over to rub Rodney's back.
"I'm sure it wasn't about you," he told him softly as Maggie headed inside with Cait and Charlie so they could get everything ready for dinner.
When Rodney started pouting, still complaining about being laughed at, Radek almost burst out laughing himself. He knew his lover, and he knew that what he was looking for was attention.
"Rodney, really, we weren't laughing at you," Fred said.
Putting his hand up, Radek shook his head. "It's all right, Fred. I think I know what to do." Leaning over, he kissed Rodney for a few moments before raising his eyebrows as he looked into his eyes. "That better?"
