Cameron was glad everything was finally finished. He was even more glad that Jack had invited them over for some good Iowa beef. It'd been a long time since Cameron had had a good piece of steak. When they got there, he moved over to where Steven and Jack were standing. "Looking good, Jack," he said as he clapped the other man on the shoulder. It was strange not calling him 'sir' anymore since Jack was officially retired.
"I know, Mitchell, and you can step away from the grill," Jack said as he poked at Cameron with his tongs. "The last time I let you touch a grill of mine, it caught on fire."
Cameron softly coughed and rubbed the back of his neck. "It was all Sam's fault," he said as he pointed a thumb at her. "You know how those science types are."
"Smack him, Sam," Daniel laughed before looking over at Fred and Jeanne. "Oh, good. I was hoping something could would come out of it."
Jeannie nodded and reached over for her can of soda. "We figured we can boost the drive power by twenty-five percent, without blowing anything up," she said after taking a drink from her can. "Wouldn't want to blow up a solar system like someone did."
"Oh, ha ha, Jeannie," Rodney huffed before he sat down with Radek and Max.
Snorting, Cameron shook his head and went to stand by Sam. He knew she was probably going to swat him for what he had said but he didn't care. Slipping his arm around her waist, he grinned and watched as Cait and Carson whispered to each other.
"Since all of you are here, Carson and I would like to make an announcement. We'll telling all of you first and plan not to tell the IOA until we're back in Pegasus," Cait said before she gave her husband a grin. "We're having a baby."
