"You're pretty wonderful, too, Carson," Caitlin whispered as he looked at the scan of their baby. There was a time in her life when she didn't think she wanted children. She was sure her job would be too demanding to even think about getting married and having children. But all of that changed when she fell in love with Carson and married him. Now she wanted several kids.
She softly giggled as Carson started to talk to her stomach. He really was going to be a wonderful father. All of their children would be loved and she knew the both of them was going to be wonderful parents. "I love you so much, Carson," she whispered as she ran her fingers through his hair.
Shifting a bit, Caitlin softly yawned as she started to feel her eyes becoming heavy. Between being pregnant and all the work she had done in the lab, she was finding herself tired a lot. She knew once they got Atlantis back to Pegasus, she would start to feel better. Looking at her husband, she gave him a tired smile before scooting back a little. She placed the box and picture to the side and curled up on the bed.
"We can celebrate more later. I'm exhausted and I promised Parrish I would help him get one of his machines online tomorrow," Caitlin said. "Katie Brown knows nothing about machines." She lightly laughed as she remembered how timid Parrish had been when he had asked her for help. They had dated briefly during the first year of the expedition, and even though they were friends, Parrish seemed to think Carson would get upset at him for talking to her. "And you know how he is when he talks to me so I can't go back on my word."
