Caitlin found herself giving her husband a devilish grin. "All mine for the rest of the night, eh?" she asked with a low laugh. "And I know just the thing we can do." She gave him a quick kiss and slipped off his lap. She then drew him up by his hand.
"I think we should go down to the dining hall and get some dinner. Then go back to our quarters so I can take a shower. After that we can eat and then we can see what else might pop up," Caitlin said with a flirty wink.
Once Carson had turned off everything in his office, Caitlin reached down and took his hand. Linking their fingers together, they walked out of the lab section of the city and toward the dining room. It was a bit late, which meant the dining hall would be mostly empty. When they walked in, Caitlin grinned when she saw Evan and Torren standing by the buffet.
"Hey, docs!" he said before laughing a little as Torren reached out for Carson. Evan handed his son over and looked at the both of them. "How are things?"
"Pretty good. Finally got things back to normal down in medical and the lab," Caitlin said before she made a face at Torren. The little boy giggled.
"Good. I know Teyla has been a little homesick. She considers this her home but she misses seeing the Athosians and is worried about what the Wraith might be doing," he told them as he turned and picked up a couple of sandwiches and some fruit. "And I'm kinda missing going on real missions."
"Same here," Caitlin said as she looked at the selection of food and picked up container of spaghetti and meatballs.
