Things were… complicated. That was putting it mildly. She felt like her emotions were everywhere, and she didn’t like it. She liked having more control over how she felt. It was so strange having had Kyp and now Deam, or well Sam. It was confusing.
The last time Jaina saw Sam was when she’d found him after they’d all woken up and sat next to him, not saying anything for a while other than a few stray comments. She’d been pulled away to help and promised to talk to him later. It took more time than she wanted it to, and by the time things were back to normal, housing had changed, and she found herself coming out of a completely different room and into the kitchen, finding Sam sitting at the counter in the kitchen.
“D-” she paused. “Sam.” Jaina blinked a few times. “Wh-” A pause again. “I guess you live here too?” She glanced around the kitchen.
