Plus One? Seriously? Hesitantly, Ianto lifted his hand and waved back at the hyper Doctor, then fumbled a little when the scanner was tossed back to him. He managed to keep a hold of it, though, so it wouldn't hit the floor and break. He had precious few things like this anymore and no way really to get any more. Unless he knuckled down and tried to reverse engineer the one he had.
Which would break it to begin with. Lose/lose situation. He rather hated those but seemed to find himself in those messes often enough.
"It means two signals, exactly the same. Same wavelength, same frequency, same everything. Possibly two .. um. two Doctors." Which was a frightening prospect. Really, they couldn't blame Ianto for not liking this. Last time the Doctor stopped anywhere for any length in his life was Canary Wharf. And that was a royal cock-up if there ever was one.
"Oi! I have a name. I'm not going to go around all day being called Plus One like it's what I'm called. Ianto, Ianto Jones, Mister Jones, just plain Jones, but never ever on any accounts, Yan. Take your pick." He jogged a bit to keep up with Jack and the Doctor.
