"A human male? Well, he must be something really fantastic, to hold the attentions of Captain Jack Harkness for more than a few days." But he wasn't asking for details right now, because even as Jack paused in his steps, the Doctor only glanced back at him, gaze settling on the other man briefly before he was beginning to look forward again -- and he was snagged. And kissed. The action made him smile wider and he put his arm around Jack's shoulders, pulling him in close for a few seconds before releasing him completely. "You're drooling over me while barmy over a human man? That sounds like my Jack. Well it's good you've found him, because I'm too busy and important to look after you all the time." However, he was walking forward again, focused once more. He needed to know where the singing was coming from. The only other Time Lord.. no. He was dead, just dust now.
"Forward, Jack. It's coming from forward." While he announced where the singing was coming from, he swung one leather-clad arm up, extending a long finger to point in the proper direction, in case his companion was confused by the 'forward' direction. He had been as vague as possible. "Come on then, places to go, people to meet." He was honestly a bit glad that Jack was there, as odd as that sounded. He wanted to assure that when he arrived, whatever was there was real, that this wasn't all in his mind, that.. it wasn't just him.
"What sort of reading are you picking up on that thing? What's it telling you?" As he asked that question, he gave another glance back, expecting to see Jack jogging forward to return to his side. Bomb-riding Jack Harkness certainly wasn't going to turn down an adventure like this.
