"Here? Here's Canada," Jack said, shrugging. "Named Aternaville, but the important thing is that we're in Canada and not Cardiff." And, on top of that, they weren't anywhere fantastical. Just... here. Canada. There was something wrong with that picture when it comes to men who had travelled galaxies unknown.
"Would have to be here," Jack lifted a brow in the Doctor's direction. "No thanks to you, of course." Bitter? Oh, just a little wee bit. "Not too far off, actually. Two thousand nine to be exact. Welcome to the twenty-first century. Mind the gap when stepping off the TARDIS and enjoy your stay and all that."
Jack saw the change in expression on the Doctor's face and nearly questioned him when the smile came back. He, however, was distracted from any and all questioning the moment weight was mentioned. "Hey now -- there's nothing wrong with my weight." He poked at his stomach. "Nicely trim, thank you very much and never looked better." He gave the Doctor a once over. "Not sure I can say the same for you, however,' he teased with a wide grin.
