The idea of the Bermuda Triangle was oddly fascinating, because for that to be the case it would have to be a kind of traveling vortex. Something moving from one place and time to another, hovering and waiting only long enough to upset the balance, take a person away, and then move on to the next victim. But the random factor was too strange, even though that in itself probably should have been the least bizarre factor to find. Strange places in time and space didn't discriminate.
His hand still felt good, too good to let go of, and Rose moved her thumb across his knuckles in a slow, back and forth pattern with easy familiarity. "Is it a bit bad of me to say I'm not too worried?" she asked, turning her head so she could take in the look of his profile while she delivered the opinion.
