Who: Tonks and the Librarian
What: Tonks was out searching in the library
When: Early evening of the 26th
Where: Said library, of course.
It was strange going from tension-filled London (in 1995, no less) to calm Aternaville, Canada circa 2009. Very strange. Tonks wasn't too sure whether she liked it. Well no, that was a lie. She liked it. But it wasn't home. And as much as peace was wanted, this wasn't her peace. Maybe that was why she was a little anxious. Or maybe it was that she had no idea what was going on that made her so. After the discussion with the blokes outside of the wizarding circle, Tonks thought to do a little investigating on her own.
And what better place to do research than a library?
Contrary to popular belief (popular, in that anyone who knew her for five minutes or longer) Tonks loved reading. She didn't necessarily stay still for it all the time, but people can read while moving! That was what the witch did sometimes. Until she crashed into a wall. Anyhow, the library wasn't scary. And she waltzed right in like someone who did absolutely no waltzing. Ever. She did walk in and start looking around curiously though. School was only five years ago for her, and it was still habit for her to keep a lookout for Pince. That woman was about as keen on the pink-haired wretch as..something very unkeen on something else. Reminding herself that Pince wasn't there, Tonks meandered down one of the aisles and took a look around.
Finding something on magic, she leaned against the bookcase behind her and placed an elbow on one of the shelves. What Tonks did not know was that the books were only haphazardly leaning against one another on said shelf. And that her elbow was most unwelcome. She slipped a little in her lean, elbow pushing against the loosely placed books. The books decided to commit suicide quickly, in succession until all ten to twelve books were clattering to the ground.
"Shit."
