Oh Jack was sure Ianto was enjoying Jack's jealousy. Jack, however, was not liking it nearly as much. At all, really. But if Ianto was letting it pass, so would Jack -- for now at least. Hard when a bloke went back and forth between wanting to shag and wanting to throttle within the space of 3.2 minutes.
However, when having Ianto so close, Jack was willing to push things aside for the time being. Particularly when he could feel the inherent warmth emanating from Ianto. They would get through things. Hell, they'd passed how many hurdles in the past several days? Quite a few in Jack's book. "Well," Jack said, drawing the word out a bit longer than necessary, "One is only making sure they are not unwelcomed advances. Particularly as I remember you saying, and this may or may not be a direct quote, you would pounce when ready." Jack was born 'ready', but if Ianto wanted this rebuilding of trust, he'd have to attempt to control himself.
Jack grinned, settling an arm around his waist, the other settling on Ianto's knee. "A lovely evening that didn't end with one of us covered in alien shit or chasing a Weevil across a car park. I don't know what to do with myself and all this normalcy."
