Jack didn't bother shooting a warning look in Owen's direction. He went right for the full-out glare. Not that he was surprised by any stretch of the imagination, he had just hoped Owen would be able to behave himself for some length of time -- particularly with a guest around.
The words weren't lost on Jack and he gave Owen his best 'Yes, I know you're alive' look. Which, the fact that Jack had such a look in his repertoire was slightly impressive.
"So is it only those who have died who get dropped here?" Jack pursed his lips. "It'd mean that... well, those dropped here get a second chance in some strange purgatory-like state? But if that's the case, why are the living allowed amongst?" Particularly as Jack couldn't die. Well, he could, it just never lasted too long. "He's not dead," Jack said, nudging Ianto's shoulder with his knee. "I, on the other hand... well, it's a bit complicated."
Alternate dimensions, however, had Jack grinning. "Know quite a bit about 'em. Travelled with a bloke who knew even more and picked up quite a bit from him. What do you want to know?"
