See, Jalil wasn't used to people doing little things like carrying on a conversation with him. He wasn't usually very.. sociable, and he didn't exude any vibe that he might want to talk to anyone. So he was a little surprised when Ianto came to sit at the table with him, scooting his chair forward so he could sit up properly, and with good posture.
