Discussing Lisa was one thing Jack was determined to avoid at all costs. He had been the one to cover the cyberwoman in Myfanwy's BBQ sauce and had given the orders to destroy. To this day, Jack would not change one single thing about that day-- even though he had nearly lost one of his team in the process.
So quickly had Ianto undressed to a more relaxed state and it wasn't until Ianto had moved in front of him, unbuttoning the coat that Jack realised he still had it on. He wore it so often (regardless of the weather) that it felt a part of him. He let the coat slide from his shoulders and to Ianto's waiting hands. How could something that felt as natural as this, lead to so much awkwardness when it came time to actually talk.
"No, not terribly much. A few hours here and there and I'm set for the week." Which was why Jack got so much work done. He could either stare at the ceiling or work. Jack much preferred work. Jack settled himself onto the settee, toeing off his boots after unlacing them. "I say again, Ianto, you've done quite well for yourself. And if you're tired, don't feel that you have to stay up on my account."
