"Oh, ha ha," he intoned and reached for Jack's mug so he could gently tip it towards himself to see just how empty it was. How empty was fairly empty, given that they'd been sitting there a while. By then his own mug had cooled so he gathered both mugs up for rinsing and refilling.
"I'm offering," he replied, heading round the counter towards the coffee pot. "I've got a perfectly good guest room you can have." Really, how wrong would it be for Ianto to just send Jack to the little hotel in town? How cold? It'd be absolutely impossible, what with the warm wellspring of affection he felt for the crazy man at the table.
"You can clutter it to your heart's content, till we get you settled."
