And, despite Elphaba's somewhat distant, aloof greeting...she was a bit happy to see Tonks again. The girl was kind, if a bit giggly, and she was one of the first people that reached out to Elphaba after she arrived in Aternaville. It was a bit like Glinda, almost--but that was, again, whining about the past.
"Up there, yes," she replied, waving a hand in the vague direction of her room. (Tucked away on the topmost corner of the apartment complex. It wasn't like her old towers, but it really wasn't bad at all). The Witch didn't sit down next to Tonks. Instead, she remained standing, setting her bag on the ground.
"Are you enjoying the book?" Tonks had practically burst when she saw it on the shelf back at the library. Elphaba didn't know what connection she had to it, but she knew the power the written word could have.
