When it did finally power up, Church straightened his helmet and considered taking his armor off.. but it'd take too long, and he liked the feel of it. It was.. comforting, in the wake of the things he'd just learned. He'd learned them, and he still didn't want to believe them. But he did. Now he knew that it was fact.. and he'd had almost a half an hour to let it sink it.
All it'd done was make him angrier, though.
So when he had his helmet on right and his armor powered properly, Church headed for the steps in it, pushing the door open and slamming it against the wall before heading up the steps, then up to the second floor, where Tex's room was. She'd hear him coming because he wasn't bothering to walk softly, like he could.. he wanted her to be able to hear him coming. He paused outside her door a moment before pushing it open and moving inside, lifting a hand to depolarize the faceplate, coming to a stop at the end of her bed.
"Fuck you for doing that." For telling him. Fuck anyone who'd said anything -- he wished he hadn't ever found out. Ignorance, in this case, had been bliss.
