He watched his girlfriend move ahead of him and pursed his lips when she went into her room, not liking the screaming of the AI, either, but he put up with it. Such was life. The fact that it quieted around Tex and screamed around Church didn't tickle any of Church's brainwaves in ways that made him put two and two together, though. He moved into York's room, past River, and lowered his chest so he could let the man fall onto his back on the bed, leaning over him to examine the bruise forming over his jaw and cheek from Church's boot, then the swelling on the other side of his face from where it'd slammed into the ground.
"Fucked him up pretty good." Said with a smirk, and he glanced back at River. "Never say I can't kick your boyfriend's ass."
