When he thought about it, only Greg's death had hit him so hard. Michael's had been difficult, but they had only known each other for a few days-- it was nearly impossible to equate such a short time with great loss. But even Greg didn't have Jack as broken down as he was now. Then again, Jack was undoubtedly in a complete state of shock, both from his own injuries and what had happened.
Jack allowed himself to be led to her bed, sitting down when she pushed on his shoulders. He collapsed, legs no longer able to support his weight as he stared out into space. He needed to snap out of this, but he couldn't find it in him to do so.
"It's... Ianto," Jack said, staring down at his hands. He sucked in a breath, rubbing at the blood on his hands and making no dent in rubbing it from his skin. There was no easy way to say this, so he went for the blunt way.
"He's dead."
