"I understand freezers," she replied. "Although I don't like them." The comparison of a freezer to a cold box Elphaba understood. However, it was the electricity and the artificial cooling that confused her so. A cold box was just that--a box with ice in it to keep things cool. Who knew what was in a freezer?
"Computers mystify me," she said. She had tried to use hers once, but it didn't make any sense. As far as she could tell, there weren't any moving parts inside of it. It was almost like magic--although Elphaba knew magic. This was something else.
