Herbal tears were more to Elphaba's preference. But really, teas were teas. Elphaba wasn't the kind to directly talk about her favorite foods and whatnot, but she was quite fond of some nice tea.
Her brow wrinkled for barely a moment as Ianto told his story. Two things interested her, really--the first was that apparently she wasn't the only person who wasn't 'from around here.' The second was that there was a girl named River. Sure, she could deal with Nymphaodra or Ianto or William, but River? Named after a flow of water? That was a bit on the odd side.
"I see," she said, trying to be polite. It wasn't that she didn't know how to respond. It was just that it was usually Elphaba giving a rant.
The two of them had reached the end of the aisle as they talked, and had rounded into the frozen foods section. Elphaba didn't really buy anything here, nor did she trust it--so she gave the briefest of little shivers.
