It was probably for the best that Tonks didn't say much more to Harry at all for a while -- this new man would give her an excellent excuse not to talk to him. Because he wasn't going to talk to her. Green eyes settled onto the man in front of them as he suggested going somewhere warm, and he wouldn't hear any arguments from Harry about that, as they began their walk back towards the coffee shop and Remus told them how he'd gotten here.
A walk every morning. Yes, that statement did carry some value to it, but Harry hadn't heard it in years. A lot of the things that Professor Lupin had told him had stuck in his mind, though. Harry had gone on quite a few of those walks, in the morning, with him while they'd been at school together. His mind wandered briefly for a moment before he shook his head and looked at their new acquaintance again.. who hadn't told them his name yet.
"Two thousand and nine?" His brows lifted.. and then he slowly turned his eyes over to Tonks. Then he looked down at her pocket, where he saw her hand was. "Did you twist that thing?" Snapped at her. Oh, boy. "Let me see it."
