Definitely not some place she knew. And it was suddenly much colder.. the snow on the ground was beginning to melt, but it was still only thirty some-odd degrees outside. That explained the jacket that the young man (younger than both of them) was wearing. He'd been leaving the park after his morning walk and had been just about to cross the street when the two people had popped into existence.
Okay, popped was a bad word. They had apparated. Remus knew that noise almost better than any other noise. He knew that was apparation. So he knew the two people now in front of him (or, at least one of them) was a witch or wizard. It was actually a nice sight.. he didn't have anyone from his world here at all. He couldn't even remember how he'd gotten here. But he was happy.. he sort of hoped that Sirius, James, Peter or Lily would eventually come around.. but no luck yet.
This was the next best thing. So the werewolf (who still looked somewhat tired from the recent full moon) was tilting his head and smiling in that small way he had. His eyes were familiar, but too bright to place. His face was familiar, but too happy, too young. And he was Harry's height.. maybe even just a touch shorter.
But he looked friendly enough.
"Hello." Greeted simply, as if this sort of thing happened every day. And, that was certainly a British accent.
