It wasn't Jalil that Remus was calling to, so the dark man wouldn't say anything (though he probably wouldn't have said anything if it was him Remus was talking to. Instead, he craned his head back when he heard the sound of the ambulance and squinted his eyes a moment, before looking forward again and picking up his pace with a little grunt. He was of the exact same frame of mind that Remus was - though there would be a trail of blood leading away from the scene. Jalil let out a little breath as the thought passed through his mind and he looked over at Remus again, before coming to a halt.
"Stay still." A quiet demand, as he stepped back and jerked his shirt up and off over his head, leaving his chest bare in the cold, crisp early spring air. The adrenaline was enough to keep him warm from now. He twisted the shirt once and then moved to wrap it around Remus' shoulder, enough to keep the blood from dripping onto the ground, so it wouldn't leave a trail. Then he started forward with him again, to the apartment buildings. Hopefully no one was out on an early morning run.
