Weevils were the one thing that doesn't turn up in Aternaville, and that was one blessing Ianto counted, over and over. Though, really, there wasn't much in the way of dangerous on the streets. Beyond Tex, at least. Safe enough that Ianto felt fine jogging in the middle of the night. Though that didn't happen so often anymore, really.
Today, though, wasn't so much jogging as finding things to do to keep himself distracted from the mess going on down in his basement. Their basement? The basement. He was intensely curious about it all, and occasionally would come by to peer down the stairs to see the progress. Eventually, he'd give in and go down and pester Jack to let him help. But right now, he was drifting into the kitchen, wondering at the lack of noise and smiling a little to himself when he caught sight of Jack hovering by the coffee machine. Wordlessly, he flipped the lid open and began loading the thing up for a fresh pot.
"How goes the progress?" he asked innocently enough and resisted the urge to dust off Jack's lips for a quick kiss. Instead, he brought out two coffee mugs, setting them out with spoons to stir while the coffee brewed.
