03-29-09 : Nine, Ten, Rose, Jack and Ianto Who: The Doctors (Nine & Ten), Rose Tyler, Jack Harkness and Ianto Jones When: Sunday, March 29th, 7:30pm Where: Somewhere.. in town.. Yeah. What: This thread and this thread meet. Rating: PG-13ish Status: Incomplete and Open (if anyone's brave enough!)
"Jackie boy seems a little nostalgic. Has that much happened in such a short period of time?" Asked back to the other man, even as the Doctor continued to stride forward, set on getting to where he needed to go, as quickly as he could -- without running, of course. That would be saved for more dramatic times. But when Jack started talking about dancing again, he couldn't help but smile over at Ianto and lift both eyebrows up closer to his hairline.
"He's right. I do. Careful now, or I'll steal you away from him." A bit of joking banter with the retired (he didn't know they let members of Torchwood retire) Mister Jones. But shortly after they were both ending up back at his side and the Doctor continued to lead the way through the little town, in the direction their scanners indicated, and in the direction his instincts were leading him. There was another Time Lord. Another Tardis. That meant the chance of another Doctor. Another him. He shouldn't have been pursuing this like he was, it could create a paradox, but.. he'd never been able to resist before, why start now?
"I can't just assume you've bought me a drink, you have to really buy me a drink first. Then we'll talk about getting to know one another, Captain Jack Harkness." A cheeky tease that trailed off slowly as blue eyes settled on something in the distance.. was that... his TARDIS. His pace quickened.. then turned into a jog, which ended up a run towards it -- but as he was coming around that next bend he pulled up short immediately, eyes moving from the TARDIS to the two people standing not twenty feet off. Some bloke in a suit with hair like a rooster (what was with his hair? Honestly) and..
"Rose Tyler. You're alright." The Doctor blurted out the words without thinking of them, a slow breath escaping at the same time. And once the wave of relief had passed, he was breaking into a wide grin and coming a few steps forward, excited to see the blonde alive and well, he'd been worried something had happened, but hadn't dared to ask Jack, incase it had been something bad. He couldn't have beared the news in front of the other two men like that. "That's fantastic! And you've come with the TARDIS!" Nevermind the man standing at her side right now, the Doctor would get to him later, Rose was more important right now. Rose was always more important. Rose was the most important thing.
