Nobody ... nobody had ever mentioned, or dared to mention, her glow and she looked around, nervously, at people who might be listening. She knew it was dangerous to admit it out loud. Someone might here and then your whole cover could be blown.
She took a step back, her hand covering her mouth to stifle a cry when his eyes flashed red, nearly falling backwards over her guitar case, but she righted herself before she could tumble to the ground.
