Ali jumped slightly when she heard the voice who was apparently addressing her. At first she didn't turn around, because it was a rarity to have a 'respectible' person even want to talk to her. She turned the guitar case on it's side with the handle up and slung the knitted bag over her neck and shoulder, settling it against her stomach in case his intentions were not exactly genuine.
She needed to protect her earnings after all, it was all she had and she needed food.
"Sorry, dude." She finally stood and turned and looked at the owner of the voice.
To say she was a little shocked at the ... uniform he wore marked him as someone different and not one of the average joe's who came to stand on the street corner to watch her play. She tried to conceal her surprise by averting her eyes downward to stare at her guitar case.
