Trotting down the stairs of the mansion, Wade swung around the mantle and jogged towards the Danger Room. At least, what was left of it. It didn't surprise Wade that Haylie took all of her frustrations out on the danger room and blew it to smithereens. He didn't understand why she was so upset--there was no way it was just because Scott was gone--if it was, he would be confused as to why she had bore her heart to him and not Scott.
But that's why he was there. With a new piece of mind thanks to Hank and Emma (he'd send them a gift basket or something later) Wade was willing to try. There was no doubt anymore that Haylie was important to him, Emma knew what she was talking about, and there was no denying a professional. Especially when it made sense after she told him. He had to try and understand her, talk it out, and move on. It wasn't something he was well versed in, but everyone started somewhere, right?
He hopped over a rather large piece of glass at the entrance before stopping short of Haylie and her one man clean up crew. Wade didn't have to see her face to feel the negative feelings that her vibe gave off, and immediately he felt bad. Squatting down to her level, he gave her a genuine smile. "Want some help?"
