"A healer," Hank corrected, and after giving Josh a quick one-over, stood up with him in his arms. It was easy to forget that the nerdy, lab coat wearing Hank could bend a barbel in half with his bare hands. Lifting Josh was simple. "We're going to try fluids and hope that this is temporary." His hypothesis was that Josh's healing ran like a car, and once all of the fuel was burned out, it had to stop.
That was his hope, at least. Josh in his arms, Hank ducked down a hallway and into a thankfully empty room, where the new patient was set down carefully. "Josh?" Hank said. "Josh? Josh, wake up." It was a long shot, but he wanted to try once more before darting out to come back with a filled IV.
