WHAT; The order has gone out this week to start testing people to determine their race, a form of profiling that in the eyes of the mother and werecat were of no benefit. Afraid that this was only the beginning of what might be an attempt to kill supernaturals, Bee is very upset and afraid for her baby that will be born into a world that might very well try to kill it in the future.
RATING; PG-13 for a touch of adult language

What: Blaze is lost when she tries to think about what is going on in her life. Instead of running to a volcano, as is her first instinct, she heads for the local beach because Vincent would never think to look for her there. Ever.

  Sunday; Becoming cooler this week and starting to shift slowly into fall. No fall colors yet, but wonderful weather for outside activities.
Monday - Wednesday; Cool, but still warm enough for a dip in the afternoon. Clear and relatively low humidity across the island.
Thursday - Saturday; Humidity is starting to rise again. Could be another storm coming soon.

A new drug on the streets is causing humans to act mad! It is a powder made from vampire blood which humans are sniffing, licking, and even dropping into their eyes in liquid form. It seems to give them the sense of feeling like they are a vampire. The only bad thing about it is once the drug has worn off the person is left craving more and not getting what they are craving is turning many of these junkies to acts of violence to achieve their means. Side effects also seem to include: vampyric strength & speed as well as a sense of blood lust.

The Council of Serith has voted that all citizens residing within the city's walls will have their blood tested so that their licenses can show what species they are on top of the other physical attributes! It is now local government policy that anyone applying for any sort of federal licenses or aide have special blood work done to identify their particular race - be it human or supernatural. Those do not have not had their blood tested within the next sixty days, and their license(s) changed to reflect as such, could face severe fines or even jail time. "This is for the safety of all the people of Serith - human and supernatural," one council member was said to have uttered as he left the scandalous meeting last Friday.
