What I Don't Recommend Sonic for breakfast. Well, that's a joke. Sonic for brunch, maybe. Breakfast? Never.
This morning I had several errands to do as soon as my kids were on their respective school buses. In my rushing around, I forgot to eat breakfast. So at 8:50 a.m., I pulled into our local
Sonic Restaurant for breakfast. Imagine my surprise when I was told that they didn't open until 9:00 a.m.
I don't begrudge them not opening before their appointed time. What got me was that they have breakfast items on the menu, and yet they're completely ignoring the breakfast rush by waiting so long to begin their day. I've seen the traffic at other fast food restaurants in those morning hours, and they do a good business. So why does Sonic ignore them?
Yes, they serve a full menu all day long, so I'm free to try any breakfast item I want...except for during actual breakfast hours.
But hey, that's OK, Sonic. McDonald's was more than happy to take my order (along with the other people in line with me), and I still got to eat my breakfast before your people even strapped on their roller skates.
