"Oooh, I know what you mean," Alex said, screwing her forehead in an effort to remember. "The ones that guard the Queen, or possibly the Queen's castle? Or something like that," she concluded, waving one hand. Details were not important. "I absolutely adore how they're dressed, it's so funny! I'd love to see them for real some time." She recalled reading somewhere that they were trained not to move even when the tourists started making funny faces at them, and was eager to see if her own funny faces made no effect.
Alex groaned when Erica pointed out that she'd only stay four more days. "I should have arrived one day earlier," she said, shaking her head. "Ah well, what's done is done. But now stop saying unfun things and let's think about all the things we must do to make the rest of your stay a total blast!" she exclaimed, grinning from one ear to the other. "If we don't find anything, I suppose we could always become a comedic duo," she suggested. "This place could do with livening up a bit," she added, recalling the waitress's impassible face.
