Erica was giggling madly - between the pot she'd smoked and Alex's laughter, she couldn't seem to stop - when the waitress came over. Alex's face as she tried to keep her expression neutral made Erica snort in an effort to keep down her own laughter and make the very same expression. The waitress seemed to take no notice of their silliness as she walked away. "She's like one of those guards in England or whatever, you know? With the hat and the no moving?" she asked and gestured wildly over her head with one hand.
Alex's pouting made Erica feel a bit badly, but after all, it wasn't really her choice how long she stayed since she'd only won the trip in the first place. But, seemingly ever the optimist, Alex wasn't down in the dumps for long and Erica smiled brightly, nodding, when Alex suggested they simply cram a month's worth of fun into five days. She hated to say it, but before she could stop herself, Erica blurted out, "four. I got here yesterday..."
"Ooh, yeah, I didn't even think of that. I bet I could find something real quick if I looked online, God, you're a freakin' genius!" Erica said sincerely, still grinning.
