"I wasn't planning on letting you go easily," Alex laughed. "You'll have to bear with me at the very least until I see some other lifeforms in this place. It might be an awesome resort and everything, but it would be way too boring to spend all time alone. I guess we'll get to see everyone else tonight, anyway. And if nobody shows up, I'm making a round of the rooms and dragging them all here," she grinned.
Her eyes glazed for a bit while Erica started talking about her marriage. Not fun. Not fun at all. Why would she insist talking about that? She let her mind wander, not paying too much attention, and just nodded. She was grateful when the subject changed again and they started talking about Dan's music. After getting Archon's reply she'd started listening to all kind of music since as she'd stated her knowledge of artists and songs was minimal. She was more than happy to add new stuff to her playlist. "That sounds interesting," she commented. "I'll absolutely have to listen to something of theirs!"
She was really surprised when Erica confirmed her guess, and burst into a sudden laughter. "I can't believe I got it right... I was really just a random guess," she said, wiping a tear from one eye. "But that sounds awesome. I tried working as a stripper a couple of years ago," she recalled. "But I just kept falling from my high heels," she concluded, shaking her head and grinning apologetically. Beneath the table her feet, now enclosed in some sandals with heels no higher than half an inch, danced for a few steps. Erica was an unusual person, in many ways. This made Alex happy - she really disliked normality.
