"Oh, yeah, I totally forgot about that!" Erica breathed. "That'll be awesome, yeah I'm gonna have to take a nap later or something so I can stay up late, myself..." she added thoughtfully.
Alex's smiling and nodding and agreement to try the mac and cheese made Erica beam back at her. "You'll love it. It tastes almost exactly like regular macaroni and cheese, but I actually think the stuff they make here is even better." She lowered her voice conspiratorially. "Don't tell, but it's totally better than the stuff I make at home. My husband would never eat my cooking again after trying this stuff if he was here," she giggled.
Laughing, Erica waved off the bow, but winked at Alex anyway. "Hey, don't even mention it, I'm starving, too," she replied.
Erica opened her mouth to answer the other woman's question and, smirking, closed it again when Alex interrupted herself to try and guess. "Ahhh, no," Erica said with a wry grin. "Not exactly...kinda close, though, I guess..."
A waitress came up to the table and Erica ordered a glass of water and more of the vegan macaroni and cheese, because, really...she had all weekend to try the other stuff, but the macaroni and cheese was too amazing to pass up this time around.
