Shaking her head, Erica laughed. "No, no, don't even worry about it," she replied, giving a dismissive wave of her hand. "Faces are always easier than names. I get like that sometimes, too," she admitted. Not that I'll forget your name, pretty girl, she thought with a bit of a smirk.
"Oh! Yeah, it's just this way," she said, nodding in the direction from which Alex had come. She tapped the tip of her own nose with one finger. "You gotta follow your nose or you'll just get lost," she giggled. "This place is like a labyrinth or something," she added, wide-eyed and grinning as she nudged Alex's shoulder with her own and started walking again; slowly, so that Alex could come along.
"I'm going for lunch myself. OH! You should sit with me! Eating alone is so lame," she laughed and without any inhibition, linked one of her arms around the other woman's. "They have the most amazing vegan macaroni and cheese, omigod, seriously, you have to try it!"
She was all but dragging Alex along the hall, now, ever the little ball of energy in the presence of another equally pretty person.
