Twenty minutes later, after getting lost about five times, Jane finally found Merlotte's bar.

Pushing open the door, she tentatively walked in, slouching slightly with her head craned in, arms crossed over her chest and her eyes drawn to the floor as she made her way to the bar counter.

"Hi. I-I'm l-l-looking for...for um...S-sookie St-St-Stackhouse?" She asked the server, stuttering anxiously.
