"Not ever," Kurt repeated, his thumb still moving against Blaine's skin, tracing along his jaw and cheek and up to rub against his temple lightly. He had to keep reminding himself that he had him, that they were there and, for the moment, safe. No way was he going to let anything bad happen to Blaine, which he knew there was no way he could guarantee or promise, but he knew he would do anything to keep him safe.
He brushed a kiss against his lips and let them linger together for a long moment, a quiet hum of happiness resonating against them.
