Kurt leaned in, nuzzling against Blaine's hair as he listened to him talk. His hand slid down so his arm was wrapped around his back, fingers holding on tightly to his bicep, and he just breathed him in. He couldn't remember the last words he'd said to Carole, or what she said to him. He'd been awake when she'd left for work that morning, but just barely. Had he even said goodbye?
"I don't think anyone would have come close to imagining this happening, even in their wildest dreams," he whispered, closing his eyes. "Not even my worst nightmare..."
