Dawn played with her spoon for a moment, then carefully set her bowl down. She stepped around the island and moved under Tara's arms for a tight hug, closing her eyes as she rested her head against the blonde's shoulder for a moment. "Thanks..."
Deep down, she knew that Tara wasn't sure. But still? She appreciated the almost-lie. And it did make her feel better, the same way that seeing her sister did, even though she had tried to kill her.
But now, she was sure the world would get straightened out. There was no reason for it not to, right?
