She stared at him, wanting to ask him if he had any idea how much it mucked around with her emotions when he did things like this. Couldn't he make up his mind? Did he want her? Didn't he? Was this all because he wanted to just be friends? If that was the case, just talk to her, don't give her the same flower he'd given her last year, the day he'd kissed her.
"Thank you," she said finally. "For apologizing. I appreciate it." Her tone was a little stiff and she thought really. Perhaps he'd been right about finding another bloke to snog.
"I'm glad you still want to be friends," she added, trying to keep the disappointment from her voice.
