Kisuke almost always knew much more than he let on. He was accused of it so often, he couldn't deny it anymore. Even since their arrival in this place, every time something seemed to shift out of place, the others from his world were quick to point the blame to him as being the source. Honestly, Kisuke was feeling more and more insulted as time went on. However, he had proven right on more than one occasion so far. Perhaps his previous plan to open a gate back to their world could have been better planned and discussed with the other effected parties, but this was Kisuke Urahara. He gave fair warning and he handled the repercussions. Even if that sometimes meant other people actually handled them.
As soon as Gin Ichimaru arrived in this world. it caught his attention. And Rangiku Matsumoto at nearly exactly the same time. It was curious indeed, more data he would take into consideration as he tracked precisely what controlled this anomaly and how. So far, he'd run into quite a few dead ends, but that was science after all. Trial and error, sometimes for years upon years, was just part of the game.
"Ah, Gin!" Kisuke called brightly from the other room of the shop where he was rustling about. Was he getting stock for the shop? He would come out with a box in his arms suggesting so. He was pocketing a gadget or two - always just in case - before picking up said box and carrying it out into the main room to meet Gin. "It's nice to see you! How ya been?" He asked conversationally in his 'shopkeeper' voice as he worked along one of the shelves unloading the box. "Staying out of trouble I hope?"
