Bonnie arrived with Drew in a hot off the runway Monique Lhuiller gown. Her make-up was smartly done and her hair hung in loose ringlets to let the highlights in her hair sparkle.
Drew was dressed in a single breasted tuxedo jacket (that he quickly rid himself of at coat check) platinum vest and black arm bands.
Showing the invitation she was shown to the front table. If Bonnie was surprised, she didn't show it. Letting Drew escort them to her table she sat demurely, minded her Ps & Qs when making introductions. The item on the forefront of her mind was to be on her best behavior for Emma. To show Emma's mother that a person can put on a pretty dress, talk the talk, but that it's all an illusion and hopefully her mother would realize that.
The dances were beautiful and was Emma actually going to wear glass slippers all night long? Oh thank god. Bonnie could only imagine the world of pain if she did. The thing that amazed her the most was the Samba. That was not her cousin dancing. Her cousin didn't dance! But as soon as she could she started filming on her cell and she could be heard cheering her head off.
